Fundraising In aid of the Born Free Foundation Charity No 1070906
My training is largely complete and I am now ticking over ready for the start of my challenge this coming Thursday 1st June from Land's End, finishing at John O'Groats on Saturday 10th June.
Over the last two and a half years I have achieved a total of 8,130 training miles, a combination of road and turbo cycling. I am very proud to say that I have gone out in all weather and conditions, I basically have left nothing in the locker and am determined to complete this 10 day, 1000 mile epic challenge, to earn as many funds as possible for The Born Free Foundation.
My Bianchi bike is now serviced, my spare tubes, CO2 cylinders, route maps, cycling gear, electrolytes, clothes and all support gear is now ready to pack. Tomorrow I collect my hire car, and on Wednesday 31st May, i will be leaving for Penzance.
It really is here now and i am 100% ready !!
Don't forget everyone to check my blog for daily updates during my challenge, I will be posting them each evening after my daily efforts.
Until then, take care all.
Mark
